Shores House is situated just off a peaceful and leafy residential lane near the centre of the village. It is screened by an immense stand of Monterey Pines making the garden feel very secluded. Yet all of the shops are just a few minutes walk away: there is a butcher, a baker, a fishmonger and a delicatessen amongst others. Going the other way, there is a delightful footpath that leads off through woods and fields, bringing you out by the sea in only 12 minutes.

So near yet so far. Relaxing in the garden on a warm August evening, anyone who values their privacy will realise just how peaceful Shores House is. The front is very buzzy on summer evenings yet although it is only half a mile away, you’ll find yourself in an oasis of seclusion.
