We’ve got our own young children, so we are only too well aware of the extra demands they put on a holiday. With children, it is the small things that can make all the difference, such as a selection of bathtoys, or tricycles in the garden. From cots to inflatable toddler beds, let us know what you’ll need well in advance and we’ll do our best for you. Shores House has a big tub of toys, beach toys, books and games as well as some kid’s DVDs. The kitchen is open plan to a family area so you can easily watch over them playing inside and on sunny days you can also see them playing on the rear lawn. In fact, all of the garden is securely fenced so they shouldn’t be able to wander off anywhere.

Of course, we have made Shores House as beautiful and luxurious as we can, but there’s still heaps of space for your kids to charge about and play. Our children have great memories of the house and love its warmth: yours are likely to feel just the same.

Finally, you have a better choice of top restaurants outside London than anywhere else in Britain. Tell us in advance if you want to eat out and we will organise a babysitter. Likewise, we can easily book an entertainer for the children – from a magician to a clown.
